What should we do on Rosh Chodesh Sivan?
Motzei Shabbat (May 16th) א׳ סיון

- Motzei Shabbat recite the special prayer for kids by the Shelah Ha-Kadosh – Click here for the prayer (Best to recite the prayer Erev Rosh Chodesh, but can be recited also on Rosh Chodesh)
- Recite the three chapters of Tehilim (83, 130, 142) on the prayers for the kids page.
- Light a candle for Rabbi Meir Ba’al Ha’Nes – BEST to light an oil candle!
Sunday (May 17th) א׳ סיון

- Read verses of Tehilim (from chapter 119 קיט) eight (8) verses for each letter of Rabbi Meir’s name רבי מאיר בעל הנס – see the verses below.
- If you can, read verses of Tehilim (from chapter 119 קיט) eight (8) verses for each letter of the name you want to pray for (Yourself or others)
- Say 3 times אלהא דמאיר ענני – Find at bottom of page.
- If you can, recite Tikun Hagadol of the Shelah Ha-Kadosh – Click here for the prayers
- Pray for your self and on behalf of other people.
- Do Teshuvah (repent) and pray to G-d for anything you wish!
- Give charity to poor people – Click here to give Charity
