Special prayer for the 16th of Tamuz

On the 16th day of Tamuz, Boaz and Ruth got married, the next day Boaz died. The holy Rabbi’s explain that since that night the dynasty of King David started, it is a very powerful night to prayer to find your other half and get married. Also, this night is powerful to all Shlom Bait issues (problems in your home) and even to hasten the redemption!!!

So what do you need to do?

  • Read 6 chapters of Tehilim: 30, 33, 67, 19, 100, 133 – You can find the text below in Hebrew and English
  • Light a candle in the merit of Boaz’s Yahrzeit
  • Give charity (Important) to sweeten the judgments. Best in the increments of 34 (Gematria Shiduch is 340). Or give 68, one for you and one for your Zivug!
  • Take upon yourself to say twice a day Kriat Shma, once before going to sleep and once during the day and before you recite the Shma say: ריבונו של עולם, הריני מוחל לכל מי שהכעיס והקניט אותי – “Master of the universe, I hereby forgive anyone who has angered or vexed me” and release all anger and grudge you have towards anyone
  • Pray with your words and ask G-d to send you your true other half or whatever you need

In the mean time, Rabbi Anava will be going to Amuka (The grave of Rabbi Yonatan Ben Uziel) to pray and you can use this form to submit names for prayers and your donation (which will go to poor people and Torah learning)

הִנֵּ֤ה עֵ֣ין יְ֭הֹוָה אֶל־יְרֵאָ֑יו לַֽמְיַחֲלִ֥ים לְחַסְדּֽוֹ׃

לְהַצִּ֣יל מִמָּ֣וֶת נַפְשָׁ֑ם וּ֝לְחַיּוֹתָ֗ם בָּרָעָֽב׃

נַ֭פְשֵׁנוּ חִכְּתָ֣ה לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה עֶזְרֵ֖נוּ וּמָגִנֵּ֣נוּ הֽוּא׃

כִּי־ב֭וֹ יִשְׂמַ֣ח לִבֵּ֑נוּ כִּ֤י בְשֵׁ֖ם קׇדְשׁ֣וֹ בָטָֽחְנוּ׃

הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם מְֽסַפְּרִ֥ים כְּבֽוֹד־אֵ֑ל וּֽמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָ֝דָ֗יו מַגִּ֥יד הָרָקִֽיעַ׃

י֣וֹם לְ֭יוֹם יַבִּ֣יעַֽ אֹ֑מֶר וְלַ֥יְלָה לְּ֝לַ֗יְלָה יְחַוֶּה־דָּֽעַת׃

אֵֽין־אֹ֭מֶר וְאֵ֣ין דְּבָרִ֑ים בְּ֝לִ֗י נִשְׁמָ֥ע קוֹלָֽם׃

בְּכׇל־הָאָ֨רֶץ ׀ יָ֘צָ֤א קַוָּ֗ם וּבִקְצֵ֣ה תֵ֭בֵל מִלֵּיהֶ֑ם לַ֝שֶּׁ֗מֶשׁ שָֽׂם־אֹ֥הֶל בָּהֶֽם׃

וְה֗וּא כְּ֭חָתָן יֹצֵ֣א מֵחֻפָּת֑וֹ יָשִׂ֥ישׂ כְּ֝גִבּ֗וֹר לָר֥וּץ אֹֽרַח׃

מִקְצֵ֤ה הַשָּׁמַ֨יִם ׀ מֽוֹצָא֗וֹ וּתְקוּפָת֥וֹ עַל־קְצוֹתָ֑ם וְאֵ֥ין נִ֝סְתָּ֗ר מֵחַמָּתֽוֹ׃

for You have lifted me up,

For He is angry but a moment,

The heavens declare the glory of God,
the sky proclaims His handiwork.

Day to day makes utterance,
night to night speaks out.

There is no utterance,
there are no words,

Their voice Cf. Septuagint, Symmachus, and Vulgate; Arabic qawwah, “to shout.” carries throughout the earth,
their words to the end of the world.
He placed in them Viz., the heavens. a tent for the sun,

who is like a groom coming forth from the chamber,
like a hero, eager to run his course.

His rising-place is at one end of heaven,

The teaching of the LORD is perfect,
renewing life;
the decrees of the LORD are enduring,

The precepts of the LORD are just,
