28th of Kislev

Special prayer for Tikun & Parnasa

On the 28th of Kislev we have the opportunity to fix and rectify spiritual damage to our holiness (Kedusha) by reciting a special pray and giving either 144 silver coins or a donation for Torah scholars. This Powerful concept is taught by Rabbi Chaim Palachi.

He also explains that the 28th day of Kislev (28th in Hebrew letters is כח which means POWER) is a powerful day to receive a huge blessing to your Parnasa (Livelihood)

Rabbi Anava will be going to the grave of Rabbi Yehuda Bar Ilai to recite this special pray. You can submit names in the link below along with a donation for Torah scholars. And if you can not make it to the grave you should still recite the prayer!

One should recite seven (7) times chapter 29 of Tehilim, (7) times ‘Ana Bekoach’ and Shir Hashirim (which can be found below)

May Hashem hear and accept all our prayers!

English Translation

29

Ascribe to the LORD the glory of His name;
bow down to the LORD, majestic in holiness.

The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the LORD, over the mighty waters.

The voice of the LORD is power;
the voice of the LORD is majesty;

the voice of the LORD breaks cedars;
the LORD shatters the cedars of Lebanon.

Lit. “He makes them skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion, etc.”He makes Lebanon skip like a calf,
Sirion, like a young wild ox.

The voice of the LORD kindles flames of fire;

the voice of the LORD convulses the wilderness;
the LORD convulses the wilderness of Kadesh;

the voice of the LORD causes hinds to calve,
Or “brings ewes to early birth.”and strips forests bare;
while in His temple all say “Glory!”

The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood;
the LORD sits enthroned, king forever.

May the LORD grant strength to His people;
may the LORD bestow on His people wellbeing.
